How we spent our Spring

First Toledo Zoo trip of the year had to start with a ride on the carousel. It was a little chilly, but perfect for spending lots of time watching the animals and not feeling rushed.

Big gorilla! Most of the animals were indoors which made it great for the girls to watch them eat and move around.

Rosemary Olsaver and Megan posing in front of the new elephant sculpture. I wish they had a tiny one to buy, because it would look next up on a shelf!

The classic elephant that everyone poses with was out for repairs (it is back now) so Megan had to pose with the turtles.

Oh no, she is stuck to the web!

I didn't think Megan would be able to climb this ALL by herself, but she did! She even figured out how to take the really big first step by herself :)

About a week before Easter, Megan and I went to go see Grandma-great and we spent the day dying Easter eggs. Both of them had a great time, it was fun to watch them together.

Megan dressed up as "Tinkerbell" for the Fairy Festival in Jackson. Grandma Berthold made her costume and Megan LOVED wearing it.

Megan making her "Dragon's Tooth Vial" aka glass vial, glitter, moss and a old dog tooth.

Trying to show us her Dragon's Tooth but she was very distracted because there were LOTS of people there.

We spent Easter weekend at Grandma and Papa's with the cousins making "Peep Dioramas" It was very hard not to eat the peeps that the kids were using to build the scenes with.

Morgan with her horse themed diorama, next to Kelsey's garden theme. All of them turned out great, the kids had fun and no peeps went to waste!

But the big event for Easter weekend was that the kids got to sleep inside Aunt Tracie's new RV! As you can see they were very excited and even managed to sleep a bit.

Last but not least, no one in Adrian will forget how icky and wet our Spring was. Water water EVERY WHERE!!! I think the last statistic I heard was that it rained 37 out of 42 days, a lot of rain. It had no where to go, so after a few days of rain our front yard was a lake. It would drain during the non-raining hours, but would be back with any new rain. We even had ducks visit our yard. Which gave Megan and I something to do/watch since going outside was not an option!

We tried to keep busy this Spring, we had some fun and now we can't wait to start having fun this summer. So far, we are having lots of fun and pictures will come soon.
