Megan is finally strong enough to sit in her Bumbo seat. When she is awake she always wants to be up right. It wasn't that big of a deal because we are always holding her but when we wanted to eat she cried when we put her in her bouncy seat. So I would hold her and eat with one hand, but now she can sit up! She only likes to be in it for about 10 minutes, but that is just enough time for me to eat.
Here are Megan and Mark sitting together. Megan likes looking around from this new perspective. She likes to hold on to a couple rings, that to her make really good chew toys. I like to think that the Bumbo seat gives her a little independence.

She looks so big sitting there in her in seat. It wont be long and she will be so independent that you wonder where the time has gone.

Her seat seems to keep her in a good sitting position. It not only give her more independence, but it gives her parents more also.

"Uncle Tim" just was leaning over my shoulder reading the "blog" when he said, oh no those baby bumbo seats have been recalled (always the personal injury attorney). I had no idea he was up on his "baby" seat facts.
According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission: If the seat is placed on a table, countertop, chair, or other elevated surface, young children can arch their backs, flip out of the Bumbo seat, and fall onto the floor, posing a risk of serious head injuries.
(We know she is never left unattended or placed on high surfaces in the chair).
