Someone is happy spring is here!

Now that it is somewhat dry outside and warmer, Megan is always wanting to go outside. She has even figured out how to open the front door to show us she is really interested about going outside. She can't open the storm door but now if I'm doing chores, I dead bolt the door just in case! When we are outside we first start with a walk, I am trying to take more and more walks without the stroller/riding toy, but most of the time, she still loves to ride in the stroller.
Megan found the she can fit into between the pot and the steps, she stands back there a lot and just leans up against the porch and watches things.
She was being goofy and this was her first attempt at a self-portrait! :)
Megan is now in love with her ladybug, or now big enough to really push it on her own, take your pick. Sometimes she will disappear into the other room then you will hear something scooting across the floor, and here she comes slowly pushing her ladybug over the carpet onto the hard wood floor. She can make it all the way around the house and knows how to get over area rugs or thresholds. It is cute to see her scoot on by.

Since it was dry and the mud was gone, I wanted to see how she would like having her ladybug outside...she didn't like it so much. The sidewalk was too bumpy and she couldn't go as fast as she can inside. As you can see from the video, she just stopped riding him. He now stays inside all the time.
Sometimes I want to know what she is thinking. She loves to sit on the rocks we have in our front yard. On this day, she sat on almost every rock and worked her way around the circle. She started from little to big and wanted me to join her half way through, but then when she went back to the little rocks, she found it very funny that I couldn't sit on all the rocks she could.
This is her favorite cluster of rocks to sit on, I don't know if it's because I can sit next to her or if it's because she can get on them easy, but either way these are the rocks she prefers.
Well, they were the rocks she preferred. It wasn't until she started sitting on the other rocks that she realized she should sit on the huge thing that is by the steps. So now when she sit on the "preferred rocks" she will point over to this big rock and then I have to help her get on it. Sometimes she will sit there for a few minutes, other times she hops right off. Like I said, sometimes I want to know what is she thinking!?!

I love seeing her enjoy the springtime. And I loved her first self-portrait.
